It’s woven into everything we do. We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint and managing waste responsibly, every step of the way.
We recycle 80% of our waste through First Mile, one of the most sustainable B Corps out there. But more significantly, we produce very little waste to begin with—roughly the same weekly output as the average UK household.
One reason for this? We don’t sell individually packaged drinks. Instead, we offer filtered water from our Belu tap—supplied by a social enterprise that donates 100% of its net profits to WaterAid—and we make all of our sodas, including lemonade, from scratch.
Even what little waste we do produce is often repurposed.
We use leftover barista milk in our bakes, scrambled eggs, and Béchamel sauce. And naturally, all of our takeaway coffee cups are fully compostable.
We also prioritise local, low-waste suppliers—some deliver goods in returnable buckets, while others use push bikes instead of vans.
